What is Zurich Accelerate?

Zurich Accelerate is an optional value added benefit available on Zurich Personal Protection and Income Protection policies. It gives you fast access to expert medical support for cancer, heart and neurological conditions — complementing standard NHS care without replacing it.

The benefit is made up of six individual services. You can use as many or as few as you like, at any point during your policy.

The services are delivered through Further Group, via their virtual care platform Trustedoctor — accessible 24/7 on mobile or desktop.

Cost: Zurich Accelerate is currently priced at £9.50 per person per month, added on top of your existing Zurich protection policy premium.

Who is eligible?

Zurich Accelerate is available to UK residents aged 18–68 who hold a Zurich Personal Protection or Income Protection policy with a minimum term of one year. Only one Zurich Accelerate benefit can be held per life assured across all policies, and the maximum benefit expiry age is 69.

Children are covered up to age 22. As the benefit is underwritten, pre-existing health conditions may affect access to cover.

Zurich Accelerate is only available through a regulated advice firm. Suitability and eligibility should always be confirmed with an adviser before taking out a policy.

What to keep in mind

Zurich Accelerate is complementary to both NHS and private healthcare — it is not intended to replace either. It gives you more choice and greater control over your healthcare journey.

If you cancel your underlying Zurich policy, Zurich Accelerate will automatically stop at the same time.
