▶  In plain English — what is Wellbeing Support?

When you take out a Legal & General protection plan, you get Wellbeing Support included for free from day one. It's not insurance — it's a direct line to a RedArc registered nurse who can help with serious illness, bereavement, mental health, carer challenges, and much more. You don't need to make a claim to use it.

The service is phone-based, with calls as often as you need. It covers the policyholder, their partner, and their children living at home. It remains available throughout the policy life and up to six months after a valid claim ends the policy.

What is Legal & General Wellbeing Support?

We all face hard times in life, from bereavement to illness, and we could all do with a reassuring chat from time to time. Legal & General recognise that they have a special responsibility to protect policyholders' health and wellbeing.

L&G have partnered with RedArc Assured Limited, whose registered nurses can provide practical and emotional assistance to enhance health and wellbeing. Together, they offer a range of wellbeing support services that policyholders can access if they're going through a challenging time.

The service is phone-based, with calls as often as needed. It is available to the policyholder, their partner, and their children living at home — and you do not need to make a claim to access it.

Cost: Wellbeing Support is included as standard at no extra cost from day one of your Legal & General protection policy.
