▶  In plain English — what is Aviva Global Treatment?

Imagine you get seriously ill — cancer, a heart condition, something major. Your NHS treatment is available, but there's a world-class specialist in Germany or the US who gets better results. Aviva Global Treatment pays for you to go there. Flights, hotel, the lot. For just £3 a month extra on your Aviva policy.

It doesn't replace your NHS care. It gives you options you wouldn't otherwise have — and someone else handles all the arrangements so you can focus on getting better.

What is Aviva Global Treatment?

Aviva Global Treatment is an optional value added benefit available on Aviva Life Insurance+, Critical Illness+, Income Protection+ and Living Costs Protection policies. It gives policyholders and their eligible children access to international facilities, doctors and treatments from all over the world for six serious conditions.

The benefit is delivered in conjunction with Further, a specialist medical support provider. It removes the worry of organisation and administration throughout the entire consultation and treatment process.

Aviva Global Treatment is designed to work alongside NHS and private UK treatment — not to replace it. According to Aviva, it was the first service of its kind to market.

Cost: Aviva Global Treatment is available for an additional £3 per month on top of your existing Aviva protection policy premium. It is a three-year renewable cover.
