  • There is no fee to you for the introduction.

Who we are

That’s Family Finance is a trading style of RB Ame Ltd. You can verify us on the FCA Register and check the company on Companies House.

What ‘introducer’ means for you

Equity release is a specialist, regulated area. Rather than pretend otherwise, we are honest about our role: we do not advise on equity release. Instead we introduce you to a carefully selected, FCA-regulated equity-release adviser. They provide the regulated advice, the personalised illustration and the recommendation; we make sure any protection you have is set up properly alongside it.

  • You get regulated advice on equity release from a specialist.
  • We don’t charge you for the introduction.
  • You are under no obligation to go ahead.

How we’re paid

We may receive an introduction fee from the adviser or provider if you proceed. This never adds to your costs, and it doesn’t change the advice you receive. Your adviser must still recommend what is right for you. Every cost is set out transparently in the personalised illustration before you commit to anything.

Your protections

  • Equity release advice is FCA-regulated, and Equity Release Council plans include a no-negative-equity guarantee and the right to remain in your home for life or until you move permanently into care.
  • Independent legal advice is required before any plan completes.
  • If something goes wrong you can escalate to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
  • Remember that equity release will reduce the value of your estate and can affect means-tested benefits: always take regulated advice and ask for a personalised illustration.

Want all your bills in one?

We can introduce you to a specialist who can combine your mobile, broadband and utilities into one bill. There's no fee for the introduction.

We don't provide these services ourselves. Switching household bills is not a regulated financial service, so FCA protections and the Financial Ombudsman do not apply. We'll only pass your details to the specialist if you ask us to. See our privacy notice.
